The clock is already running

First hard deadline: the battery passport, 18 Feb 2027

Every EV, industrial and light-transport battery over 2 kWh placed on the EU market must carry a QR-linked passport. Textiles, electronics and furniture follow through 2030. Data collection has to start long before the label is printed.

What we do

A digital passport is only as good as the infrastructure behind it

A DPP is a machine-readable record — materials, origin, carbon footprint, repairability, compliance evidence — linked to a physical product through a data carrier. The hard part isn't the QR code. It's keeping every identity unique, verifiable and online for years, even if a supplier disappears. That's the part we own.

Unique & tamper-proof identity

Every product instance gets a globally unique, collision-free ID with cryptographic integrity — no duplicates, no spoofing, verifiable by anyone who scans.

Open-standard data carrier

GS1 Digital Link QR codes that work at the checkout and open the passport — future-proof for Sunrise 2027, with zero vendor lock-in.

Persistent hosting, guaranteed

Passports stay resolvable for the product's lifetime — with regulatory persistence obligations met even if the original economic operator ceases to exist.

How it works

From product data to a compliant passport in four steps

01

Connect your data

Push product, material and supply-chain data via API, CSV or your PIM/ERP. We map it to the ESPR data model for your category.

02

Mint a unique ID

We issue a globally unique, tamper-evident identifier as a GS1 Digital Link — at item, batch or serial level.

03

Generate the carrier

Get print-ready QR / NFC / RFID data carriers with a resolver that serves the right view to consumers, regulators and recyclers.

04

We keep it live

Registered with the EU DPP Registry, monitored, versioned and hosted for the product's lifetime — the infrastructure is our job, not yours.

Why EU DigiPassport

Infrastructure you can build a business on

Unique by design

Collision-free ID allocation with integrity checks. No two products ever share an identity — the foundation of anti-counterfeit trust.

No lock-in

Built on open GS1 & ISO/IEC standards. Your GTINs, your domain, your data — portable the day you want to leave.

We run the infra

Resolver, storage, registry sync, uptime and lifetime persistence — a managed backbone, not a library you have to operate.

Developer-first

A clean REST & webhook API, SDKs and sandbox. Issue your first passport in an afternoon, scale to millions without re-architecting.

ESPR-ready

Category data models, access-control by persona, and EU DPP Registry integration — compliance handled, not homework.

Scales 1 → millions

From a single pilot SKU to a full catalogue across markets, on the same infrastructure retailers and channel partners already trust.

Circular by default

One identity, the entire lifecycle

The same passport travels with the product from raw material to resale and recycling — accumulating verified events at every stage, readable by the right party at the right moment.

  • Design & sourcing bill of materials, substances, supplier tiers.
  • Use & repair care, spare parts, warranty and repair history.
  • Resale & recycle ownership, disassembly, recovered materials.

For developers

Issue a passport with one API call

A REST API, webhooks for lifecycle events, and SDKs for JS, Python and Go. Sandbox keys are free — no sales call to start building.
